After taking the community's opinions into account, we're going to extend the due date to September 30. The rest of the timeline will remain intact. Here's the updated schedule (all dates are at 11:59 PM EDT unless otherwise mentioned):

Nominations open: 10 July
Nominations close: 24 July
Sign-ups open: 29 July
Sign-ups close: 12 August
Works due: 30 September
Works revealed: 5 October (3:00PM EDT)
Creators revealed: 12 October (3:00PM EDT)

Some participants have brought up concerns with the current creating period; they'd like it to be a little longer. As a reminder, the current schedule is this:

Nominations open: 10 July
Nominations close: 24 July
Sign-ups open: 29 July
Sign-ups close: 12 August
Works due: 19 September
Works revealed: 23 September
Creators revealed: 30 September

We'd like your input on possible schedule changes.

OPTION A: Nominations close 20 July, sign-ups open 24 July, sign-ups close 3 August, assignments go out within two days (depending on matching), works due 19 September. That gives around 6 weeks to write and/or draw.

OPTION B: Nominations and sign-ups remain the same, but works are due on 30 September. Again, that gives about 6 weeks to create your work.

OPTION C: Leave it as is.

OPTION D: I have a better idea!

Please comment and let us know! Anon commenting is now on; thanks to the person who brought that up.

Nominations are live!

Rules

You may nominate 6 fandoms, with 5 characters/groups in each, and 10 tags.

Fandoms
There is no rarity requirement regarding which fandoms are eligible. RPF, Crossover Fandoms, and Original Works are all allowed. Non-traditional fandoms such as songs, poetry, anthropomorphism, etc. are allowed. Fan-created fandoms based on existing fandoms will be decided on a case-by-case basis. If you are nominating a fandom with multiple versions (e.g. the various Lord of the Rings adaptions), or has been known to cause issues with exchange tagsets, please comment and tell us if you think they should be combined and why.

Characters & Groups
You can nominate individual characters or groups of characters.  To nominate individual characters just use the character's name. If the character's name is used in other fandoms, please include your fandom in parentheses after the character's name. If you want to nominate a group, then use this format: group: Character A & Character B.  All characters nominated in a group must be able to fit in that fandom on their own to be accepted; if they don't, they go under Crossover Fandoms. If it is a crossover group, then you must put each fandom in parentheses after each character's name. You may nominate Rule 63 versions of characters; do that in the format of Female Character A or Male Character B.

Examples:
Momomiya Ichigo
Steve Rogers (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
Female Sparrow Hood
group: Third Doctor & Sara Jane Smith
group: Charles Xavier (X-Men Movies) & Zordon (Power Rangers)

Tags
You can nominate up to 10 tags total. These can be tropes, kinks, settings, etc. They should be related to dark themes in fic/art.

Examples:
Psychological Torture
Alternate Universe - Post-Apocalypse

We will be asking the community to help determine when to combine related tags together.
