This will be a catch-all post for our questions about your nominations, to be edited as they come up. The nominations are in bold, and our questions are below the bolded text.

UPDATED JULY 12

1. group: Scorpius/Scarrans (Farscape)

Do you mean a specific Scarran, an original Scarran, or any Scarran? If it's the latter, please edit your noms to be Group: Scoripus/Any Scarran.

2. group: Kuro/Shiro

Kuro seems to be a fan nickname for an unnamed character. Since not everybody is familiar with all fandom nicknames, we'd like to change it to a description of the character so it is clear to everyone. Can someone please give a suitable description?

3. Hoody (Marble Hornets)

How distinct is this character from Brian?

4. Eaten by Pants

How do you envision this going? We'd just like some clarification on what is intended with this one.

5. Magic Binding

Same as above - can we get some clarification on this (magical bonds or magical bondage?), and how it would be interpreted according to the theme of the exchange?

6. group: Darth Vader & Lando Calrissian/Lobot (OT)
group: Jabba Desilijic Tiure | Jabba the Hutt & Lando Calrissian/Luke Skywalker (OT)

For these two groups (along with anyone else merging an & and / relationship request within the same group), can you clarify how you intend this to be interpreted?

7.  Wiedźmin | The Witcher - All Media Types

What is the different between Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon and Cirilla Fiona | False Ciri?

8. Winterstrike

Game or book?

9. Shall We Date?: THE NIFLHEIM

Who is Isabella? I can’t find confirmation of this character existing.

10. Beneath the Hill

This is a freeform tag. What does it mean?

11. City in a Bottle

Can we have some clarification on this one as well?

Thank you all!

Re: Kuro/Shiro, I've also seen dark!Shiro being used. :)

A description: "Kuro" appears for a few seconds during the final episode of Season 1 when the witch Haggar is giving Shiro a vision of what he could have become if he allowed her to make him Galra's greatest weapon. The name was chosen among fans since the name Shiro means "white" and Kuro means "black," in reference to how the dark mirror character was behaving very differently from the hero. :)

Ah, okay! Would group: dark!Shiro/Shiro be better here, then? I can go make the change. :)

I am the nominator of eaten by pants... I was thinking of like magical clothing you cannot get off and it destroys you.

Hoody/Brian/totheark are all the same person, technically, yeah. I only added Hoody separately because Tim/Masky came up as one option while Brian/Hoody were only separate tags, and I didn't want any confusion as to whether I wanted to include Masky but not Hoody if that makes sense??

It's not a huge issue tho it's probably fine if it's just the singular tag as anyone likely to claim from MH probably has watched the entire series and thus knows the Hoody reveal.

Ahhhh it's hard to say for sure because most of this is fan theories/reading between the lines, but I think one of the major differences between Masky and Hoodie is that Masky is shown to be a separate personality from Tim due to "slender sickness" (when he doesn't take his meds, he becomes Masky, etc) whereas the same "slender sickness" affected Brian by just changing him over time, wearing him down to become Hoodie (as the series progresses, he is shown as Hoodie 100% of his screentime, unlike Tim who switches).

Therefore I'd have to go with "alter ego"! And apologies, I'm terrible at explaining things lmao.

Done. :)

Mods, why two of my Arrow nominations got rejected? I suppose you rejected them because Mick and Leonard? Leonard Snart was mentioned in the show, though I think that he never shows up in person, and Mick Rory appears once. Or is it for a different reason?

I took some time to reply back because I wanted to check the episodes. I recalled the crossover episodes with the wrong order, that means that Mick actually doesn't appear in the actual Arrow episode, however he does appear in the summary-of-the-previous-episodes preview (it is Arrow 5x08), if that's what you meant by footage?

If that's not enough I'll just accept that I can't have them on the tag set, as I haven't slots left to nominate them in the Crossover fandom. Since they are all part of one Universe, and that there are often crossover episodes among the shows, I didn't think that the ships could have get rejected or I would have considered the option of nominating only crossover ship from the start. Alas. :/

RE: Magic Binding

I was thinking along the lines of characters with magical powers having them bound or removed in order to render them vulnerable

Yeah, "magical abilities bound" would probably work better. Thanks :)

Not my noms, but in "Football RPF," Sergio Agüero and Lionel Messi are association football players, while Aaron Rodgers is a gridiron football player. (I think that fandom is often tagged as National Football League RPF.)

For Winterstrike: Ah, that was meant to be the game, sorry.

For Shall We Date? The Niflheim: Isabella is the default name for the main character of the game.

Re: The Witcher:

Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon is a major character in the books & video games. "False Ciri" is a more minor character, a girl who was passed off as Ciri as part of some political maneuvering. AFAIK we never learn her real name.

I suppose Forced to Commit Rape and Forced to Rape could be merged?

What's the difference between Rape Aftermath and Rape Recovery?

Okay, I also saw Enduring Torture to Protect Another, Enduring Rape to Protect Another, and Character Volunteers For Torture/Rape/etc. In Order To Protect Other Character. The third scenario is a fusion of the former two. Now I'm unsure whether I should use the separate tags or the fusion. :p

I think Presumed Character's Death and Presumed Death can be merged? The former is my nomination.

Same about Public use as legal punishment for crime and Public Use As a Legal Form of Punishment, they seem basically the same scenario to me.
